What i do to get my referrals is join different blogs and post links where it is allowed, i also watch youtube videos and leave comments with my link.
but the # 1 thing that has worked for me is a site called getref. in getref you sign up to other sites and then they give you credits, and then you can use this credits to pay other people to sign up under you for one of your sites.
